Kate Winslet was seen out in New York City yesterday with her version of the 21st nuclear family. 

Winslet was accompanied by her ex-husband Jim Threapleton, their daughter Mia, her and current husband Sam Mendes‘ son Joe, and Threapleton’s female friend.

It’s all about togetherness and showing the kids that there’s no hard feelings.

Winslet’s new movie Revolutionary Road, directed by her husband and co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is already gathering Oscar buzz.

In it, Winslet plays a disgruntled housewife in the mid 1950s.

It would appear she doesn’t have the same problems in real life.
