Life’s not easy for a mom on the run, especially when her kids are as quick as she is.

Kate Winslet was out for a walk with her kids, Mia and Joe, in New York Friday. Four-year-old Joe—probably in a hurry to find that Pokémon fellow—tried to bolt from Mom’s side.

Luckily, the Flushed Away actress was able to rein the tyke in.

It’s a shame that Joe’s too big to be carried around in a sack. Maybe she should put this whole family-outing thing behind her.
