Katherine Heigl would seem to have it all: Fame. A loving husband. A solid show-biz reputation. The ability to buy any old thing she wants. And probably enough Marlboro Miles to trade in for a private airplane.

Alas, Katie's life lacks one crucial element: A solid connection to her spiritual roots.

The sometimes petulant Grey's Anatomy star admits that the Hollywood lifestyle has caused her to lapse from Mormonism, which her family converted to when she was seven years old.

"I'm not as disciplined about it as I once was, but I hope to find my way back as I get older and a little less selfish," Heigl confesses.

Pushing hard on 30, Heigl is no doubt getting older.

But less selfish? This is the woman who publicly dissed the show that put her on the map, and continually poisons everyone's air with her toxic habit—which, by the way, is strictly prohibited by the Mormon faith.  

It might be a while before the church elders grant you another pair of magic underwear, Kates.
