While her turn in Arthur Miller's All My Sons is a shining hit on Broadway, her salary for working in the play cannot possible be keeping up with 30-year-old Katie Holmes' spending habits.  The wife of Tom Cruise, 46, and mother to the world's most powerful tot, Suri Cruise, has been on an awesome buying spree.  She is thought to have splurged through $14 million during the past half year alone.

Topping the list of high-end purchases compiled by the New York Post's Page Six are three apartments in the Manhattan building where Tom has owned a unit since 1985. The lofts are estimated to be worth about $4.8 million each.

The other expenditures listed by the Post pale in comparison:

  • A precisely estimated $13,987 on child care and taking two-year-old Suri out over the last six month.
  • An additional $7,000 on installing gym equipment in their home.
  • In the neighborhood of $7,315 on dining out at brasserie Balthazar and sushi restaurant Nobu.
  • In excess of $17,000 on clothes for Holmes and Suri from shops like Hermes and Bonpoint.

What, no listings for money spent on ChapStick and Halloween costumes? Somehow, the Page Six roundup seems to be missing a whole world of essential items.
