Katie Holmes, what's with all the bruises on your knees?

Mrs. Cruise might be doing anything possible to jumpstart ticket sales for All My Sons, including morning, noon and night prayers, but those scuffs look pretty extreme.

Could it be that sweet and innocent Katie has been hardened by the Great White Way, and is turning to the drink? Is she stumbling through her rehearsals and banging into stage props and furniture like a tipsy filly?
