Katy Perry and Dita Von Teese Fight AIDS With Fashion

Dita Von Teese and Katy Perry are willing to give the shirts off their backs to combat AIDS.

The burlesque queen and the “I Kissed a Girl” warbler are but two of the celebrities who’ve teamed up with H&M and Designers Against AIDS to help spread awareness of HIV and AIDS to today’s youth.

Von Teese and Perry collaborated with H&M on designs for garments, which will go on sale in H&M’s youth-oriented Divided department on May 28. Twenty-five percent of the sales proceeds from the 100-percent organic-cotton clothes will go to youth HIV/AIDS awareness programs.

Other celebrities and artists participating in the effort include Tokio Hotel, N.E.R.D., Cyndi Lauper and Moby. Check out a video of Perry and the other participants discussing the importance of the project below:
