Katy Perry and Lily Allen: Girl Singer Catfight!

British singer Lily Allen, 23, always ready for a brawl, has lashed out against singer Katy Perry, 24.  Lily has dismissed Katy as "crass."

Keep in mind that Lily Allen is the woman who wrote the following lyrics for her song, "Nan, You're A Window Shopper":

You only buy the paper just to cut out the coupons
You're saving 50p but what do you want with tampons
You're always at the doctor picking up you prescription
And they throw in some KY just to ease up the friction

It sounds like Lily knows crass when she hears it.

The Metro UK reports that Allen told Capital FM that Perry is "an American version of me."

"She was signed by my label in America as, 'We need to find something controversial and kooky like Lily Allen.' And then they found her. I think the lyrics and stuff are a bit crass."

Allen then revealed the real reason for her beef with Perry. She believes that trampy Mrs. Claus called her fat.

"When I met her I was bit frosty with her because someone asked her to describe herself. She's like, 'Aha, I'm like a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinner version of Lily Allen!' It's like, you're not English and you don't write your own songs, shut up!" Allen said.

Lily better watch out. She may be an experienced brawler, but Perry could always run her over with her giant mobile banana.

UPDATE:

A day has not passed, and already Katy Perry is backing away from fighting with Lily Allen.

Perry has confided to Us magazine that she intended no harm or insult to "Smile" singer Lily.

"I was just kind of joking and trying to be funny," Perry backpedaled to the magazine. "I didn't mean anything by it. Comedians are not necessarily to be taken super seriously."

Perry is technically a musician more than a comedian.

But who can blame her for backing away from a scuffle with Lily Allen?
