Is it too much to hope that the studio will sign on Perry’s fiancé Russell Brand as Shaggy Smurf?

Will Katy Perry as Smurfette be hot, or super-hot? And if not Katy, who should inherit the coveted Smurfette role? Share your opinions in the comments section.
