Katy Perry departed from Copenhagen, Denmark, en route to Manchester, England, today, sporting a most unusual outfit as she made her way through the airport.

The 24-year-old singer, who's usually known for her eye-catching fashion sense, sported a fur hat suitable for an Iditarod run, a pair of sunglasses and a blue kerchief over her face.

Was Perry—who's currently on her One Of the Boys tour—planning to hold up the ticket counter?

Maybe the recently single singer was trying to live down her Las Vegas rendezvous with Benji Madden?

Fear of SARS? Was it fear of SARS?

Whatever its origin, hopefully Katy will ditch the mysterious fur trapper look soon. As she demonstrated with her Mexican bikini pics, the fewer clothes she wears, the better.
