Keira Knightley Hates Modern Technology

Apr 14, 2009 at 1:50pm

Don’t expect Keira Knightley to jump on the celebrity-Twitter bandwagon anytime soon.

The Pirates of the Caribbean beauty recently admitted that she hold nothing but contempt for most forms of Internet communication, particularly services such as Twitter and Facebook.

“I hate the Internet,” the Telegraph quotes Knightley as saying. “I find it dehumanizing to constantly check emails or social sites which have become so fashionable.”

Well, excuse the rest of the world for trying to keep up with their friends, family and celebrity crushes, your highness!

Knightley isn’t completely opposed to all modern forms of technology. She’s been known to mock total strangers on the street and share her insults with friends via text messaging.

Now that‘s dehumanizing!
