"Milkshake" singer Kelis Rogers-Jones gave birth to a baby boy, Knight Jones, on Tuesday at approximately 9 p.m. in New York, Us Magazine reports.
Rogers-Jones, 29, had been in labor since 2 a.m. on Monday and underwent a natural birth, with her mother and sister beside her in the room. Knight, who was born weighing 7 lbs., 8 oz., is the singer's first child.
Kelis broke up with her husband and the baby's father, rapper Nas, earlier this year. The two are currently involved in harsh divorce proceedings, with Nas asking a court to deny Kelis any spousal support and both sides seeking joint custody of the new arrival.

I wonder if she now uses breast milk in her milkshake? Would that still bring all the boys to the yard? I doubt it.
A child, and in this instance a boy for that matter needs his father upbringing without a faulty relationship drama! All over the world, been pregnant is a not a one way to altar. Ladies failed again and again to understand this simple fact! You cannot tie a man down with pregnancy!
If he loves you. Let him says it. Don't tell him or ask him to tell you that he loves you. If he loves you, he loves you for you, not becos of been pregnant???
They never learn???
Anyway, birth of a boy deserves a special consideration for the mother. A king is born. Not a drama queen!
Actually, you're wrong. They were married way before she became pregnant. She didn't tie him down at all. Their love just died.
