Kellan Lutz Makes Jackie Earle Haley A Hero

Jul 28, 2009 at 1:15pm

Kellan Lutz is willing to help out his own killer?

The Hollywood hunk, who plays Robert Pattinsons brother in the Twilight films, will be haunted in his dreams and might potentially be killed by Freddy Krueger when he stars in the upcoming remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street.

But that didn’t stop Kellan from giving Jackie Earle Haley, the man reviving the role of the iconic killer, a special treat.

The vampire hottie signed a couple Twilight books for Haley’s nieces.

“I actually just met [him] here,” Jackie, who was most recently seen portraying Rorschach in Watchmen, told OK! at Comic-Con about working with Kellan. “He’s a really nice guy. He signed a couple of Twilight books for my nieces, and so I was a hero there.”

How sweet! Kellan always seems to come to the rescue.

Good thing we have New Moon to supply us with our Kellan fix before the 2010 release of A Nightmare On Elm Street.

Is Hollywood remaking Steve Guttenberg’s entire back catalogue!?
(But if a kid ever comes up to me and says “Jackie Earle Haley is the only Freddy Krueger” I might just stab him with his own nose accessory!). Still, wouldn’t it be a better idea – and I know some Hollywood studios are clicking with this idea ...
