Kelly Clarkson Wants to Get ‘Empty’ on New Moon Soundtrack

Is every former American Idol contestant angling to get a song on the New Moon soundtrack?
Idol Season One winner and apparent shape-shifter Kelly Clarkson has written a tune, “Empty as I Am,” that she hopes will land a spot in the sequel to the hugely popular vampire movie Twilight.
But does the song have enough bite to make the cut?

The song really doesn’t sound that great. I don’t think it will fit with the mood of the movie. There’s too much repetition, and there are various better songs I can name off that would fit this movie, specifically the leaving part, much better.
I’m more concerned about her weight gain, theres nothing wrong with being curvy but she’s taking that step too far now and its getting fat. Poor girl =/

Well according to Kelly it’s a really, really sweet but at the same time sad song…hopefully it’ll be really sad because I really don’t want to listen to some rock or whatever she’s now up to on her latest album…anyways, I love Kelly and I love Twilight….

I don’t feel it, not one bit especially since New moon is going to be a bit depressing with the whole break up scene with Edward and Bella, this song just doesn’t fit it.. :3

Not right for new moon. I believe that Stephenie has it right when has a choice of the songs to go w/the mood of the film. The Twilight soundtrack is awesome.
Listen to her song – Addicted! I think it is a perfect song for New Moon and much better than this one.

No freaking way.I don’t even know how to express how disappointed i would be if they put someone like her on the soundtrack.I mean its not that i hate her or anything its just its not that kinda soundtrack.And Kelly Clarkson has the totally wrong sound
