Kim Kardashian Hits 5 Million Twitter Followers

Kim Kardashian‘s star power has never been bigger, and that was made clear to the world yesterday with a staggering milestone: The brunette bombshell officially passed the 5 million Twitter follower mark.
Kim thanked all of her followers on her blog, saying: It’s such a mind blowing feeling to know so many of you are out there reading my tweets! I can’t believe it! I love you so much.”
Now that she’s over 5 million, Kim is quickly catching up to Justin Bieber, who has racked up more than 5.5 million followers. Think she’ll be able to pass him? Let us know in the comments!

According to Wikipedia, the wizard of the internet, Kim Kardashian has now passed several minor religious groups in terms of followers:
Judaism: 14-18 Million
Bahai: 7.5 MM
Kim Kardashian: 5 MM
Cao Dai: 4 MM
Tenrikyo: 3 MM
Rastafarian: 1 MM
If she starts passing Jews at the 14 MM mark I might be convinced to convert over to Kardashianity… so long as confirmation involves motor-boating Kim.
Yet another fun fact, if Kim Kardashian’s 5 Million followers all moved to like Wyoming and started their own city, they would be the #2 most populated city in America (Only NYC is larger with 8.4 MM).
