Fashion-fitness pioneer Kim Kardashian is known for her groundbreaking style sense.

As she emerged from yet another manicure-pedicure at Beverly Hills Nail Design yesterday, the 28-year-old reality-TV sensation debuted yet another trend: Disposable chic.

Kardashian left her nail session wearing the throwaway flip-flops that nail salons traditionally slap on their clients’ feet while prettying up their tootsies. And which are generally disposed of afterward.

Was Kim merely in a hurry to meet her next professional obligation, or was the lifestyle guru offering budget-minded fashionistas a thrifty footwear alternative in these tumultuous financial times?

Either way, Kardashian has once again proven that she’s not afraid to step outside of conventional fashion boundaries.
