There are rumors flying around on the Internet this morning saying that our new Dash store in Miami may have been vandalized and broken into today. Lily, our store employee, who is with us in Miami for the opening, arrived this morning and discovered that the store window had been vandalized with graffiti. All of the graffiti on the wall was gang-related and there were carvings in the glass. All in all, the damage is pretty bad, but they’re painting over it now! Luckily nothing was taken from the store, but as a precaution we called and filed a police report and the police came to the store. Of course the paparazzi were all over this, and assumed our new Dash store had been the intentional target.
We want to make it clear that no one was targeting the store or Kim, Khloe and myself, specifically. The location of the store has remained a secret since we started filming, so there’s no way whoever graffiti’d the store front knew it was Dash. They were just defacing buildings in the area.
So that’s what happened! We are all really sad that our brand new Miami Dash store that we’ve been working so hard on got graffiti’d, but Kim, Khloe and I are all fine and we wont let a little thing like this ruin our launch party tomorrow! And what’s life without a little drama, anyway, right!?

I think that it was an unfortunate incident and that graff artist should respect the propert of others and at least look into community based forums to express their art.. am I the only one who seen Beat Street.. don’t end up like Ramon… Kim or Khloe will “Spit” on ya..lol

I’m really sorry to hear about what was done to your store in Miami. It was disrespectful and of very poor taste. I believe there are community based programs that allow “graffiti artists” to express themselves within their community. The act of what was done in itself was not artistic. It was VANDALISM!! Welcome to Miami… I was very sad to hear that happened to your brand new store, especially since I live here in Miami. I guess it could have been a lot worse though but I’m sure that it’s very frustrating. I can’t wait to visit the store though once I figure out where it is. I love how all of you out there who are defending the graffiti are calling everyone else ignorant when you don’t seem to be open to looking at the situation from the other side. Yes, art and expression are important, and art doesn’t always take place in a classroom. But what about the person who built the building, that was their form of art. The girls who put effort into setting up and designing the store, that was their art. How is it supposed to make these people feel when someone takes it upon themselves to deface their private property, be it artistic or not. This is not about Miami or owning the streets or artistic expression, its about basic human decency. It is not too much ask that people leave your stuff alone. There are other ways for these people to express themselves.

First off, as an artist i can tell you that those three letters sprayed on the Kardashian’s building isn’t art at all. It’s just a bunch of dumb young retards trying to be funny by defacing the property of celebrities. If the vandals really had such a passion for defacing private property with their “art” then start by spraying up your family’s homes and lets see how well that shit flies. Second of all, out here in Cali, in LA, people don’t take things like that likely. people get killed for disrespecting someone’s turf, real talk. This little tagging crew might think that it’s funny- if they really about something leave the rich celebrity sisters in their vanilla neighborhoods alone and come to the projects and try to spray on somebody’s property and see if you won’t be hunted for afterwards.
