KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN: ‘BABY MASON CHANGED MY LIFE’
Last January, Kourtney Kardashian was a staple on the social scene. This year, there’s only one guy she’s spending face time with: Mason Dash, the son she and her boyfriend, Scott Disick, welcomed on Dec. 14. “I’m just loving all the time with him,” Kourtney, 30, tells Life & Style in a new exclusive interview. “I really don’t miss my old life. I can’t imagine life without Mason now.”
Kourtney is the first to admit that her schedule has done a 180 since she’s become a mom. “I used to get up and literally not stop until at least midnight,” Kourtney says. Having ditched her high-paced social life, she’s now happiest playing house. “I really don’t miss my freedom at all — there’s nothing I’d rather do than be home with Mason and Scott,” Kourtney tells Life & Style. “We relax, eat, sleep, play. Our biggest plans now are taking Mason out for a stroll or giving Mason his first bath. It’s amazing how fulfilling those things are for me.”
But Kourtney wasn’t always sure she’d be this content with motherhood. “She was definitely scared before she had Mason, asking, ‘Am I going to be a great mother? Am I going to love this baby as much as I should’” Scott, 26, tells Life & Style. “And that all went out the door.” In fact, her devotion to their child has brought the couple with the rocky past closer than ever. “She’s just ridiculously good with Mason. She’s perfection. It’s made me fall a little bit more in love with her,” Scott says.

Hi Kourtney! This is my first time writing to anyone from TV. Hope it’s real. Seems unreal. I have too many things to congratulate you for, but I am sure you heard them all. I just adore you. You have a lot of fans out there. I have a question for you. I would love some advise about pursuing my dream as a stylist maybe. I don’t know, I love clothes, shoes, makeup and everything that makes us into the gorgeous women that we are. I constantly get compliments about my look and it’s my passion. Kourtney you look beautiful, sexy, and gorgeous in all that you put on and look… You should not care about what people say about ou anyays…FK.. the papparazzi always wanting to bash you and everyone else whomlooks good in HOLLYWOOD after giving BIRTH….You and MASON are beautiful!!! I am 34 had my first baby son PHILLIP XAVIER at 21 gained 70 pounds and was losing weight oppose to gaining. I however started off at 118 pounds at 6 feet tall. My son was 2 weeks passed due. I was induced and I pushed forn 10 minuts and there he came 9 pounds and 5 ounces 21 3/4 long…All throughout I was unable to lose the rest of the weight!!!! 8 years later I got pregnant and this time We plannned to have a baby girl and I ge pregnant with my daughter GABRIELLA IMANI KIMORA…. I requested to give birth at 34 weeks because I knew I was already having a big baby again…. She was born at 35 and half weeks only because had to get an amniocentesesis done just to make sure that my daughters lungs were developed properly… She was born and weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long…. I gained 40 pounds with her…. The theory to this is FUCK what people say about you and how you look!!!!!????? You are gorgeous, I honestly wish there is some way I can meet you both my daughter and i….. WE ADORE YOU ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW SHE CAN BE A MODEL IN COMMERCIALS????

Baby weight or not….it really doesnt matter. What matters is that you are a great mom to your sweet little Mason. Congrats on his delivery, by the way!! Great job!! Mason will grow up loving you unconditionally…just be your sweet self, try hard each day and love him as only a mother can. That is the BEST gift you can give your son. Best wishes from one mom to another!!
i how it feels when you see that cute baby for the first time. i have two kids, girl and a boy. i know you whant to be with your baby every minute that you have with the baby. congrats with the baby and enjoy it now before the baby starts to run and make a miss. happy valentines to your family.

I really wanted to comment on the recent episode we saw when Scott got so drunk in Vegas. All I have to say is, I hope you are not together with him. I know he is the Father of your baby but he really is a scumbag. First of all, he was totally possessed (in the episode, not to mention any other time) and needed to be punched in the face and told to shut up and sit down. He is not a real man. That is what you need, girl. There are plenty of good men out there. You can do sooooo much better, don’t even sweat it.
Anyway, I really think you deserve better so I had to say that.

I just wanted to say that i am extremely impressed with your change in attitude with the birth of your son. I watch your show all the time and know that it must be fun having all the fame and fortune but at the end of the day your just like everyone else with real fears and values. I am 35 and a mother of 4. I didnt have my first child until i was 30 as well and let me tell you it is a life changing event. i cant promise you that you will be as patient with your son like you would of at 20, but it’s amazing. my youngest children are 2 year old twins and with them i have had some serious medical complications where i lost my life and was brought back. i could have chose to terminate the pregnancy early on to save my own life, but i knew that there was a reason for them and i had to see what happened. they are beautiful and healthy and im so glad i didnt make a decision i would have regreted. when i watched the episode where you were thinking of other alternatives as well and saw the heart beat i knew you were hooked. your son is beautiful and i was reading what all your “fans” were writing about your life…people are people and they always have opinions. i am on my second marriage and if it’s meant to be forever with scott then it will be…he is young and men dont grow up as fast as we do..(my husband is 28) we struggle everyday, but again at the end of the day he is always laying next to me and would never leave…even if i want him too sometimes…i guess what im trying to say is good luck with everything and i have never written to someone who is a “star” no offense its not my thing, but i think your a beautiful and strong woman and coming from one mother to another i always say ( i hope you take this saying on as well) i have never done anything as great as having my children…i was born to have them…good luck, and it would be kinda sweet to have a real response from you so if thats how it works then please e mail me. thanks and take care.
ps. your son resembles your father and everyday you will see a little of him in mason…..when people die they do “come back” in our children….
Congrats on your beautiful baby boy! My son was also born on December 14, 2009. He was born at 8am in Pasadena, CA. I was watching the season finale of your show tonight and the scene where you give birth to your son Mason was amazing. I think the doctor asked if you wanted to touch your baby and you reached down and forward and pulled your son out of you (at least that’s what it looked like). I’ve had three sons and watched a lot of birthing video and I’ve never seen anything like that before. It seemed like such a calm and natural decision you made to take Mason and place him on top of yourself immediately after his birth. It was surreal to watch on TV I can only imagine what that moment was like for you and your family. You are definately going to make an amazing mom it seems you are a natural at it. When my son celebrates his milestones I will also be thinking of you and Mason. Again, congrats!

Hi Kourtney! I know you probley wont read this, but I would really like to say CONGRATULATIONS! on your bundle of joy!!!! My son was born in july ’09 and I have so much fun with him. He is my first born and hoping to have another. Mason is just too cute! Our sons are 5months 4 days apart and I think that is awsome. I know we will never meet since your in Cali and I am in Tx.

your baby is so cute he was born right before my daughter was due. I must say though I watched your episode when you gve birth. I know your feeling on raising a child alone, but really I have done it with three of my kids and believe me it can be challanging but it pays off in the end. I always hated to admit my mom was right about the father of my children too, but you have a very supportive family behind you and they love you very much. I have seen how scott acts and he is a total fake, you deserve better. He seems to be out for himself in this relationship with you. If you were to get rid of him you might find a mr. right who will be there and love you the way you want to be loved. trust me it took me along time but I found mine whom I just had a little girl with. Please consider this and never turn your back on family for someone who obviously could care less about anyone but himself. you are a smart, beautiful, and strong woman kourtney and you can be the greatest mom ever without him.
