I remember when I was pregnant and I would spent countless hours on the computer searching for the best baby products. I even have a friend who has a list of all her favorite products all organized by category, which she sends out to all of her pregnant friends to help out.
The only way to really know what’s good is to try it out and, most importantly, see if your baby likes it. Recently I have noticed when opening new toys for Mason out of the box, Mason likes playing with the box more than the toy itself… go figure.
I will start posting more about things that I love for him. But let me start with one of Mason’s absolute favorite things at the moment…

One is the Evenflo Exersaucer. This allows me to make my steel cut oats every morning lol. Mason loves playing in it with the fun toys and it’s a good learning tool with all the numbers, colors, different shapes and textures. It is also good exercise for their little legs and helps them get used to standing. I only put him in here for around 10-15 minutes at a time though, and he definitely lets me know when he’s ready to come out.
This is also not a babysitter. You absolutely need to watch your baby as with any toy. I have one in my bathroom too so when I need to wash my face, put on a little makeup, he stands right next to me and plays happily.

Every morning I put my 5 month old Baby Girl Caroline in the same thing!! She’s been standing since birth! She plays about 20 mins but lets me know when she is DONE too. One toy she loves that was passed on to me from a friend (her baby played with until she was 2) is Fisher-Price’s Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage. It’s so awesome!!! She can play “Rockstar” and we can sing songs too! She will play and play. No matter what kind of mood she is in, once we pull that out she instantly smiles. Kourtney Mason is amazing. On 7/25/08 I gave birth to my first child Delilah, she passed away 12 days after she was born. I am so grateful for the 12 days God loaned her to me. She changed my life forever. You are an amazing daughter, sister, and most of all mother. I love the episode where you gave birth to Mason. You and Scott were amazing. Kourtney your show is amazing. You have grown into a wonderful young lady, a fantastic mother and i simply hate the way scott treats you. He doesnt appreciate you at all . My little boy is 2 1/2 and I’m preggo with my second boy. I’ve been obsessed with all the obvious choices for baby boys like Splendid, Trumpett socks, and such. However, I’m dying to know where you got Mason’s dark green sleeper you had him in the final episode of K&K Take Miami.
Are you still breastfeeding? Has Mason started solids? What are his favorite foods?
First of all Congrats. Being a mommy is amazing. I have a 4month baby girl named Catherine. Your little Mason is adorable. My little girl loves her exersaucer too. Her white German Shepherd Echo sits next to her for about 20mins 2X a day and they both press the buttons and play with the toys:) I am very happy for you and your family. I so wish I had your post baby body. But I was in a car accident right before I got pregnant so I’m in constant pain. It makes it hard to work out. God Bless you and your family:)
Kourt, first off your baby is the most beautiful precious baby i have ever seen.. I am 23, 3 1/2 months pregnant and im currently in that inbetween stage where i dont look pregnant and just look fat (im 5′ 2” and 102 lbs so im not used to not fitting comfortably in my clothes..) What kind of clothes did u wear to feel comfortable in around these inbetween months and what did u wear as u got bigger? Bc theres no way in hell im buying maternity, a 5′ 2” girl will look like a hot dog in a garbage bag…. !
I have a very active 3 month old boy, and on your miami show you have the cutest red and white baby bouncer that I have seen Mason in…who by the way is ADORABLE! I was wondering what kind of bouncer it is and where did you get that? I am very curious and am interested in purchasing one for my son. Thank you so much.

Hi! Just wanted to suggest a children’s book by David Shannon called “Too many toys!”…when you mentioned that Mason likes to play with the boxes more than the actual toys it reminded me of this book.

I watch your show all the time, you are truely an inspiring mother to me and I saw in one of your episodes that you were breastfeeding, i just had my precious babyboy Anthony 3 weeks ago and I’m breastfeeding as well but I’ve had low milk production lately, I was just wondering if you ever had that issue? And if you have any tips on what to do to boost it up? Breastfeeding is very important to me as well and I cried when I had to give my baby formula lol.

MY son loves this exersaucer and I put him in it when I make dinner but he can only stand it for about the same time as Mason and then starts screaming. I find myself walking around the house singing RED, YELLOW, and BLUUUUEEEE.
I love your guys show. I really got into it about almost 2 years ago when I had my son. Right after I had him I turn the tv on and seen that my son had the same name as your store. Dash is a great name. I have to say that the best show was when you and your sisters help short get a new start. I would love to be able to o the same for someone. But my hands a real full with my two kids. I also know what your going through with Scott my famliy cant stand my babys daddys must of the time. I would love it if I could send you a pic of my son dash and you could see how great the name fits him. One day I hope I can feel as pretty as you girls look everyday. My kids make me feel great everyday.
hey..i love mason hes soo cutee..i have three boys myself n a girl on the way and my kids were oppiste they didnt like those things they like more being in the swing and bouncer they didnt even like being in a walker if i got my boys in it the most was maybe 10 min:)….it soo much fun watchin them grow up and the new things as they grow..never thought id be 23 with 4 babys! wow!!!!
Bought one for my nephew at Christmas time, he absolutely loves it! The nice thing about it is he can still play with it as he grows!

I love hearing about all of your mothering tips and ticks. I’m not a mom yet, but my hubby and I are thinking about getting pregnant within the next 6-12 months. I know that Mason was an unexpected surprise, but I was just wondering, now that your a mom, what advise would you give someone who is really thinking about it but still doesn’t know if they are ready?

Hi Kourtney! First of all, I would like to thank you for being such a wonderful inspiration to me and other mothers everywhere. I think you and Scott are doing an excellent job of raising that precious little Mason of yours. He is such a gorgeous little baby boy! I have a 4 1/2 month old baby girl, her name is Mia…and believe it or not I just found out I’m pregnant again! I was and still am so focused on breastfeeding that I didn’t get on birth control. I know you said that breastfeeding is so important to you too, were you able to take birth control and still produce enough milk? And, I also wanted to know what kind of breast pump you would recommend, because I have a single Medela pump and it doesn’t work well. I hope to hear back soon! Thx – D
Hi Kourtney, I wanted to give you some NEW mom advice! I know it looks like EVERY MOM in the world is trying to tell you something! Well I bet that none of them will tell you about Steven Johnson syndrome. Six days after my daughter thurned 3 she had an allergic reaction to something in the air.Her body started sloughing (peeling) off her own skin. The most common cause of SJS is CHILDRENS MOTRIN. When children start the process of SJS parents call their docotor and say my child has red dots/bumps.The docotor tells the parents that it’s the chicken pox and to give the child motrin to keep them compfortable and call back if after a week its not any better. WRONG thats not always the case and after a week the child could be DEAD. I know your EXTREMELY busy but you could help so many moms if you could just let them know that if their child gets bumps it dosen’t always mean its the chicken pox!!! I warn you if you search SJS online the pictures VERY graphic. But well worth the knowledge!! Thanks and I hope I taught you something you didn’t already know! p.s. Mason is adorable!

hey Kourtney I actually wanted to ask you how have thnigs gone on putting Mason to sleep in his crib. I remember u saying that it was hard, that u had him sleeping in his bassinet right next to your bed then he ended up in your bed next to you just as I did. I actually this past weekend put my baby in his crib for the first time, I honestly feel like it was the hardest thing to do. I couldn’t even sleep that night. I tossed and turned and checked on him all night long. I had to be strong though. it was a little hard for him to he was so used to being next to mommy and daddy, but its best this way. I feel a little more comfortable about it now and he is also liking it to. when I check on him he is just all over the place nothing like when we put him in there for bed. haha. But I would like to hear from u about this. I really want to know how have u felt about that. Please write back with your thoughts and comments as it is still a little hard for me.
The exersaucer’s are great compare to what they originally started out at lol. My son Marius also loves the boxes more than the toys that came in the box hehe. Even now that hes just over 22 months old he prefers boxes over any toy… well maybe not over ‘cars’??? everything is ‘cars’ and when he see’s trucks he says ‘barrrpp barrrppp’ lol. Kids are so gorgeous and a precious gift!
Oh Gigi loves hers too! She definitly likes it better when one of us is there playing with the toys or puppet with her. At the gym in the kids club (daycare) she plays in it a lot longer than she will at home and ours is better but she knows she can have mommy at the slightest whimper, hehe. Now that she is sitting up I have a bin of toys and manipultes for her on the carpet right outside my bathroom door that she plays with when Im getting ready. And when Im in the shower if she is awake I put her in the bouncy seat right outside the curtain or in the bumbo in the shower with me! Isn’t having hte right baby equipment great!?!

I have a jumperoo which is alot like this one but they can jump up and down. i have a six month little boy and he absolutly loves his. It was the best toy that I recieved. i recomend these to any mother with a 4 month to walking child. =)

My daughter never had the exersaucer, but I had a different type of entertainer/jumper. One item I HIGHLY recommend and my daughter who is one still plays with it is called ‘Around we Go’ She lovessssss that toy! It’s great because it has a seat and the baby can go around it as if he was using a walker and then when he/she is older you can detach the seat and it’s a little activity table! I was wondering if you ever thought of a project where you could help middle class people. For example I have parkenson lpr and multi surgerys my husband is spanish has work since the third garde yes the third grade he dropped out of school to raise money for his family, Hes now retired. We both had work our whole lives however I had to stop work due to my illness, Medical bills piled up and we sold our home and move to a double wide. We were there nine mos and I was taking 50,000 units of vit d and dr said body was taing it to head for the sun. Again we had to sell and now we have a trailer which cost sixteen thousand. I do has a small amount put away from 401 k. Also the job I have gave me stock options for being one of the top people for job well done,however because I got parkenson and they were stock options the company took them back after I was out for two years. We have struggle but always pay forward. I would like nothng better then to upgrade my trailer just alittle. Maybe there could be a program where people who have tried and struggle could gain some help. By the way girls love your show and your ma love her.
