Joyce is one of my best friends and she does my makeup!! We go on all kinds of adventures together like vintage clothes shopping, vintage furniture shopping, all sorts of crazy stuff!
Her outfits inspire me every day that I see her! She has my back and makes sure that I win the gorgeous award! Lol!

STEP 1: KOURTNEY’S SKIN
DON’T FORGET GIRLS!! It’s very Important to keep up on your skincare regimen to keep its glamour & to help you have a clean smooth look. On Kourt I apply PerfectSkin & PerfectSkin eye cream. To condition lips I used Clarks Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Balm. *Don’t be lazy, this also goes for using a cleanser on your pretty little face at night as well! If ONE night you happen to be too tired, use makeup remover wipes.
STEP 2: PRIMER
I used Photo Finish Foundation Primer by Smashbox. *On warm summer days try cooling your Foundation Primer in the refrigerator for refreshing the skin and reduce puffiness.
STEP 3: FOUNDATION
I used Photo ‘Perfexion by Givenchy. When blended into the skin with a foundation brush for a flawless touch, this foundation gives a smoothing concealer effect with a weightless wear and a radiance “projector.”
STEP 4: UNDER EYES
I use Secret Camouflage by Laura Mercier. *this product is the perfect trick for completely camouflaging dark circles, minor imperfections, and discoloration.
STEP 5: SET
Finally I set Kourt’s entire face with Smashbox’s Photo Set Finishing Powder with SPF 15. *this is perfect to keep makeup from melting away under the hot lights of a photoshoot or on the red carpet. REMEMBER don’t use too much of this, just a little touch is all you need.
STEP 6: BROWS
I tweezed them using Tweezerman tweezers. Then filled them in with Benefit’s Brow Zing. *use an angled brush and apply soft strokes of the pigmented wax to shape and define the brow, then take your small blending brush to apply and set the brow zing’s powder to fill in sparse areas and lock the brows into place.
STEP 7: KOURTNEY’S EYES
To prime the lid I used Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Tawny Matte Finish by Urban Decay topped with Eyeshadow in Chopper by Urban Decay. *this is the perfect color for giving off a smokey dark golden pinkish glam look. M.A.C. has the perfect Eye Kohl in Smolder that I used to line Kourt’s upper inner eye line. I also give a thick line on top of the lid close to the lash line. Remember, to finish off the eye, I curl her lashes using Shu Uemura eyelash curler. I gave Kourtney her lush lashes with Plush Lash by M.A.C..
STEP 8: KOURTNEY’S CHEEKS
On the hollow of her cheeks I applied Bronzing Powder in Laguna by NARS. To give give that pinkish glow, I used a touch of CORALista Blush by Benefit to give a sheer natural hint of color.
STEP 9: KOURTNEY’S LUMINOUS GLOW
I applied Lust Dust by benefit right above the hollows of her cheeks & bridge of her nose.
STEP 10: KOURTNEY’S LIPS
First I lined her lips with a The Essential Pencil in Nude by Trish McEvoy. *Although this is a matte finish it helps to extend the wear of your favorite gloss or lip color. Next, I applied and blended lipstick in Pink Innocent by Trish McEvoy. I finished her lips with FUSION BEAUTY’s Lip Fusion inFATuation in La Lip Jolie to give the glossy coat.

I ask you to think of one thing as you speak to these cameras and reporters: please learn some important grammar rules. Your use of “I” is wrong most of the time, and while grammar is something that is overlooked these days, the people who know the difference look down on you for your rampant misuse. Khloe is pretty bad, too, but really, it’s only ONE RULE and I can help you:
Just try to think of the next word!
Example:
(WRRONG)
Bruce raised Kim and I as his own
(RIGHT)
Bruce raised Kim and me as his own.
You can tell the difference by ignoring the FIRST person you mention. You wouldn’t say “Bruce raised I as his own” you’d say: “Bruce raised ME as his own.”
so just ignore all the OTHER WORDS and imagine you’re talking about yourself.
Please don’t take this the wrong way, I just really think it would help your image to speak more eloquently, and this one problem is seen at least once an episode on E and usually during your interviews (Chelsea Lately was the worst example).
Please please speak to your publicist to confirm this observation, because I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s noticed this poor grammar.
I know it’s insignificant to some, but to those who care, it is a big problem.
For Mo: I am a published writer/photographer who notices what people say and how they say it in print and broadcast media. While I agree with you re grammar, I think that the show’s producers–including executive producer Kris Jenner–are aiming for spontaneity and freshness over grammar.
On a much larger scale, I continue to notice inexcusable grammar and malapropisms coming from people like Nancy Grace. Even folks at the largest TV networks, People mag., etc. don’t know to use “regimen” instead of regime.
What’s really important here? Twice, cancer has tried to take my life, and I suppose in that ongoing battle, I learned to savor to the hilt the outstanding and pay little attention to the otherwise.

Mainly, I think much of the Kardashian charm and magic is that they have created an empire originating with their lives, and yes, their looks and style.
Had I given birth to either of my sons via the “Kourtney approach,” I probably would be vying with the Duggars as to number of offspring.

As a professional writer, I assure you that even the literary greats’ characters use “real” language (termed colloquial) and grammar.
My only suggestion is to have your “people” respond to fans’ requests for where you bought a particular clothing item.
At wit’s end–since neither Loeffler Randall (the blouse’s designer) or the Net offer many clues as to what store carried the organza petal blouse, my friend and I are having a seamstress make the blouse in question. (It’s the blouse you wore, Kourtney, tucked into black slacks; you carried a vintage purse with lucite chain handle.) The designer sent me a list of stores, but no luck after contacting them. Finding online pics of the blouse leads to one outlet, and that link says it’s sold out or discontinued.
Apologize for this lengthy comment, but I wanted to comment that I prefer you as you are.

Someone said the same thing to me about my mole and when I got it checked, it was cancerous – I am fine now, but could have died if left unchecked. You owe it to Mason to stay healthy and live a long life! Stay on top of these things and see your derm every few months! XO

Why are Kourtney whorshippers crying about so called haters commenting on her site. Nobody knows her. If anything you should be happy all comments are giving her high number of hits on her web page, which is good for her. She doesn’t care about ANYONE she doesn’t know, and that goes for all loving fans. How many of you has she responded to? Does she bother to come on here and respond other than to flaunt her stuffy self. Yes, it is her website, duh! SHE has opened it up for ALL kinds of people. Yes, there are aweful comments, but there are also tons of mushy ones. She’d be sad if all the ugly comments went away, imagine how few people she’d have on her site. You also have some that just plain comment the truth. Nobody is perfect ALL the time, she knows it, so why bullshit her when she doesn’t look nice. I like to be honest, my opinion, and if she looks nice too me i say it, and if she doesn’t, i’ll express that as well.
One thing i will never do is say anything bad about an innocent little human being. Whatever THEY dress him in is the adults fault good or bad. He cannot dress himself or even choose what to wear. Everything about a precious little baby is what or who the adults make him/her to be at the start. Enough babies are born to careless humans at NO fault to them.

Just a note to underscore the importance–and often the unknown good you do–re your blog. You and your makeup friend, Joyce, for instance, are helping me through a not-too-attractive, post-surgical period after I had tear duct surgery. Although my wonderful doc assured me the incision is healing nicely, right now, I’m pretty self-conscious about it because the wound is just under my inner left eye and extends about an inch.
I really perked up and read with interest what products Joyce used on your “glow” face makeup, so on leaving the doc’s office after suture removal, I “DASHED” to get the concealer Joyce uses. I also plan to get more of the products, too, but as a professional photographer, I headed instead to a camera store
Anyway, thanks for inadvertently helping me through the healing process of eye surgery. Dark, under-eye shadows are bad enough, but a new incision: faggedaboudit! Please pass on my thanks to Joyce as well.

I think she is beautiful, and If people dont like her than dont pay attention to her. The things people say come from with in…So if they say mean ugly things that is who they are, maybe not forever but at least now. If we hate something than why do we spend so much time obssesing over it or even giving a one minute to it. Life is short and we should spend every moment doing something we love we enjoy doing achieving things…..and putting people down and saying how ugly we think they are….isnt that a waste of time and what did we achieve ???
