Happy Thanksgiving! My whole childhood we spent Thanksgiving going skiing with our Dad! We always ate out at a restaurant which is NOT very traditional, but they served all the traditional Thanksgiving foods and we loved being all together in the snow. We would lounge around on the couch together and watch 80s movies like Sixteen Candles (one of my favorites!) We would always go around the table and say what we were thankful for every year. Life is all about making these memories.
Now we go to my mom’s house and all help cook something. This year I am making the candied yams and an amazing monkey bread dessert. I told my mom that we should all wear comfy clothes and lounge around the house. She wasn’t so into the comfy clothes idea because she loves any excuse to get glam, but I am showing up in my UGGS!
