Have you thought about fabric food?
I create children’s toys to help feed their imagination. They are life-size, colorful pieces of art with hand sewn detailing. Washable and safer than plastic and wooden toys. They are concussion proof fruit. I also do custom playhouses and tea sets.

The only downfall that wooden toys may have are when they are being distributed they can be left in a storage place that is kept at the wrong temperature and can accumulate mold and the company often clean it off but whose to say its gone
