I grew up in a house obsessed with Christmas! I remember my Dad on the roof putting up the lights, the Christmas music throughout the house, the decorations everywhere, the gingerbread houses, the stockings! Santa Clause came over every Christmas Eve to our big party. We did it all. Now it is time to make my own traditions and start decorating my own house with lights outside, stockings, and just go all out!!
Joyce and I went to Aldik to load up on Christmas decorations and we went ALL out on the tree! She came over after shopping and a few hours later VOILA! We have a crazy Christmas tree!

I do not find you in any way to be a good mentor for the younger generation. Being unmarried, single mother (now of two) are not the best sampler for a role model to be follower nor mentor. Tanya, Look in your phone book for crisis center that helps abused women with shelter ect. they can help you get back on your feet. Your community should have a mental health center that can help you and also can give you phone numbers for services you need. No one should stay in a abusive situation. Good luck!
