Getting ready to move our Miami DASH store is such a fun and exciting process! While we have been discussing design features for the new store, I have found myself reflecting back on the opening of our Melrose store for inspiration. How fab are our chandeliers from lamps plus? I am so obsessed with this sparkling pendant light! I am so thankful to Jeff Andrews for introducing me to these lights when designing the DASH store with us.

I can’t give too much away yet, but our new Miami store is going to be beautiful, and my sisters and I are so excited to share it with everyone once it is done!

Happy Mother’s Day to my fabulous mother who has taught me so much about being a mother myself. I respect the love, enthusiasm and effort that you have put into all of us. I love you beyond words. I feel so blessed to have my mother and grandmother to look up to every single day.

Being a mother is my favorite role in life so far. I cherish every second with my angels. The joy I get to feel every day because of them is indescribable. To all the other mothers out there, have a beautiful Mother’s Day!

This Saturday is the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry’s annual Walk for Life! Sign up to support our family and fellow Armenians. Together we can make a difference and help save the lives of the people we care about. My family is dedicated to saving our cousin Cici’s life and many others and now is your chance to help do the same. Learn how you can make a difference in the lives of others here.

I am so proud of my Armenian heritage. I love the family values that we were raised with and so much of it I attribute to my father being raised in a strong and close Armenian family. The genocide is something I was taught about as a little girl and even studied in junior high school. Although I will never completely understand the horror and tragedy that went on, I pray for those who were affected. Today we will honor those who went through the tragedy and were killed in the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

On my actual Birthday, I had a very mellow day at home all day. That night Scott and I were planning on going to dinner at my favorite restaurant in Malibu, Taverna Tony!! We walked into the restaurant and SURPRISE! My entire family and some of my close friends were there to surprise me! Another magical birthday night…two in a row, I am a lucky girl!
