I am so proud of my Armenian heritage. I love the family values that we were raised with and so much of it I attribute to my father being raised in a strong and close Armenian family. The genocide is something I was taught about as a little girl and even studied in junior high school. Although I will never completely understand the horror and tragedy that went on, I pray for those who were affected. Today we will honor those who went through the tragedy and were killed in the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

On my actual Birthday, I had a very mellow day at home all day. That night Scott and I were planning on going to dinner at my favorite restaurant in Malibu, Taverna Tony!! We walked into the restaurant and SURPRISE! My entire family and some of my close friends were there to surprise me! Another magical birthday night…two in a row, I am a lucky girl!
