Lord knows, an out-of-control drug habit can be a source of endless amusement, but it takes a special talent like Kristen Chenoweth to make that point in musical form.
The helium-voiced Pushing Daisies actress is making a splash on video-comedy site Funny or Die with "Intervention," a tuneful tribute to the ravages of crystal methamphetamine addiction. (Sample line: "So consider this your subpoena/It's time to stop doing Tina.")
Insensitive? Yeah, probably. But it's definitely more entertaining than that "I learned it by watching you!" Partnership for a Drug-Free America shtick. Check out the video below:
No wonder Kristen's up for an Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy category. Can't wait for Chenoweth's next spoof, perhaps about the lighter side of contracting tuberculosis.
