Kristen Stewart to Join the Marines?
Will Twilight beauty Kristen Stewart be donning military fatigues in the near future? It’s more likely than you think.
Coming Soon recently interviewed actor James Woods, who dished on a project he plans to direct, An American Girl, which he approached Stewart about “before she was famous.” Since reading the script, Woods says, Stewart has been very eager to get the movie made.
According to Woods, the story follows a recent high-school graduate who, after getting involved in booze and drugs, finds herself at the center of a sex scandal in her hometown and joins the Marines to escape the shame.
Woods explains, “The ironic thing is that along the way she starts learning these values she doesn’t expect…It’s not like she’s a gung-ho Marine.”
In Woods’ opinion, the role is “a slam-dunk Oscar for” Stewart.

As a former Marine, I would never watch a movie with her portraying a Marine. I agree with Guest. She’s a terrible actress. Being a Marine takes a lot more than hanging your mouth open and staring stupidly into the camera. She does not have what it takes.
And kstewie!, women Marines are not allowed to shave their heads. GI Jane was an exception.

Sorry. I think she plays the same person over an over again. This isn’t a stretch from every other rebellious girl she’s played.
I think that Kristen will do roles that challenge her and that are different from the “Twilight” saga. She happens to be very talented. I have seen her different films and she portrays different characters. I would definitely see any movie that she is in.

ahhhh ok then. First of all she doesn’t acutally play a marine…she plays an interpreter to Iraqi women, she doesn’t necessarily fight…the movie is based on her character as a self destructive teen before she enters as a marine, and then carries on as a double amputee when comes home!…I HATE TWILIGHT and anything that revolves around it, but if your basing her acting skills on that movie alone, then your soooo one eyed its hilarious. She is pretty damn good for a 19year old so i can only imagine what she’ll be like when she hits her early 20s.

Acting is subjective. Whether or not someone likes Kristen Stewart’s acting does not come down to jealousy or hatred, it is just a simple opinion.
An opinion does not have to be justified nor does it have to agree with yours. I, personally, do not admire Stewart as an actress. I have watched her in three different movies and I do believe I have a sound basis for my belief, though I do not have to prove this in anyway.
However I will say that I find her dull and boring, and admittedly my judgement of her acting skills might stem from my judgement of her fashion and clothing sense.
Also don’t resort to cursing or typing in capital letters to “prove your point” and to “protect” her – it is pitiful.
