Kristen Stewart to Open String of Halfway Houses
In the latest issue of Vogue, K-Stew—who's reportedly raking in $25 million for the two-part Twilight finale Breaking Dawn—says that she's currently conceiving of opening a string of halfway houses to help troubled youths.
Stewart notes,
“Anytime I hear that somebody’s really rich, the first question is ‘Do you do anything with it? Or do you, like, chill? You just sit on it?’”The 20-year-old actress says that the plan came to her while doing research for her role in Welcome to the Rileys, in which she plays an underage stripper in New Orleans.
While Stewart admits that she's taking her time with the plan to make sure it's done right, she says that it's currently her main focus:
“That would be amazing. Right now it’s the thing I feel most connected to.”Stewart's issue of Vogue hits newsstands on January 25. Do you think her halfway-house plan will eventually come to fruition? Share your predictions in the comments section.

Well, I don't like her (hate is a strong word, not to be misused) but I cannot deny that this is a solid action for any human to undertake. I wish her speed and strength of character in this endeavor.
great!! that it is something very honest and noble!
b*tch please! haven't seen her starting up anything has she? Yeah, tight, we've heard that stuff before, she's no Oprah! Oprah's sitting on a billion dollars right now.. Was that your point?
What an awesome idea. It's great to see someone so young want to do something that can make a difference with all of that cash they are raking in. Look at Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, even Paris Hilton. Look at the ridiculous ways they blow their money. Stewart sounds like she has her head on straight. You go girl.

If you read the actual magazine article, it says she would LIKE to someday open these halfway houses. It does not say she is doing so. This story here is very misleading.
She is smart, beautiful, humble, down to earth. Love her.
She's amazing.
