Kristen Stewart: 'Twilight' Is a 'Psychotic Situation'

Kristen Stewart refers to the frenzy surrounding her hit movie Twilight as a "psychotic situation" not once but twice in an interview in the current issue of Nylon magazine.

Stewart stars as Bella Swan, the human lover of forever-teenage vampire Edward Cullen (played by British heartthrob Robert Pattinson), in the hit film series—Twilight, the sequel New Moon, which is currently in pre-production, and the already green-lit third installment, Eclipse.

Everywhere Pattinson and Stewart went to promote the movie, they were overrun by screaming fans, she complains. The 18-year-old actress also wasn't too fond of fielding inappropriate questions about her and Pattinson's relationship.

"Anywhere we'd go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it's thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these bullsh*t questions like, 'What's it like to kiss a vampire?' and 'How much do you love Robert?' Then you'll get one that's actually real, but you'e like, 'No, I can't right now, I can't even consider [it]."

Stewart stresses that she is in no way romantically involved with her formerly shaggy co-star, who co-presented an award at the Oscars last night in a subdued manner with Mamma Mia! actress Amanda Seyfried.

"It's just totally false…Rob and I are good friends," Stewart asserts. "We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. And it's like, I know this guy really f*cking well [laughs]. It's only natural that we're sort of leaning on each other, because we're put in the most f*cking psychotic situations.”

Stewart, whose previous big break was starring as Jodie Foster's daughter in Panic Room, also finds the late-night talk show circuit to be a drag.

"I feel like I have nothing to say on those shows… I'm not good at the funny thing—most people are really great on those shows," she admits. "I don't have a contrived personality that [I can] just pump out [for] a five-minute segment, so I end up sitting there and looking kind of baffled. Embarrassing.”

Weed-bikini owner Stewart stars in the upcoming comedy Adventureland, and was willing to talk about her current boyfriend, actor Michael Angarano.

"He's older than me—he's 20 now—but when you're 13 and he's turning 16, it was always sort of an out-of-reach thing," Stewart reveals. "Then you get a little older, and you realize, 'Oh, what the f*ck am I thinking? I can have you, like, lickity...' [Snaps her fingers and laughs.] He's awesome."

Hopefully Angarano appreciates his lady love's salty talk.

lol ITS ABOUT TIME Ms.Stewart!! LOL i was starting to believe she was agreeing with all the TwiTards dat she should SOOOOO get together with Rob. She never spoke up for micheal or anything until now. I luv her all over again now. And rock on with the angry "Fu*ks" give the tweenys something real to scream about

Well Ms. Stewart, tell us how you really feel. So your a dope smoking little brat....Twilight may be psychotic for you, and I bet you sent the paycheck back didn't you. Lighten up young lady, tweens are gonna have a romance with RPattz with or without you. Stop being such a snob, all this craziness is what it is. GET THE f*ck OVER IT BABY..................Try smiling, once in awhile. I'm thrilled you have Michael, if he makes you happy go for it. I personally was not aware of either you or Rob, the movie is a true testiment to unconditional love, it's just a shame neither of you can relate yet. In my opinion Mr. Pattinson out acted you in every way, take some lessons and stop brooding about the gossip. No readers I'm a much older woman so I do have a little more life experiences

To be honest, I don't think she acted like Bella in Twilight, she just has the appearance, she can't make me to have the same feeling how Bella loves Edward in the book, but Robert did the great on this, that's why he is so popular now. She is lucky enough to get Bella this role...

i try to like her, i do, but the more i see/hear... the more pretentious she comes off. she didn't want to do the oscars b/c her movie was a 'money-maker' omg! get over yourself.. when the oscars call, you go!
