Lady GaGa had two reasons to celebrate this weekend—not that she ever really needs an excuse to party. Not only did the Pantsless One turn 23 on Thursday, but her hit single "Poker Face" took the top spot on Britain's pop singles chart yesterday, Reuters reports.
"Poker Face" jumped three spots this week to overtake the Comic Relief charity single "Islands in the Stream," a remake of the 1980s Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers chestnut sung by Welsh sex symbol Tom Jones and former Bee Gee Barry Gibb. Holding at number 2 was Flo Rida, with the track "Right Round."
This marks the second time that GaGa—born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta—has triumphed on England's pop-singles chart recently; the ever-bubbly songstress took the top spot earlier this year with her single "Just Dance."
Let's celebrate GaGa's chart dominance with this acoustic version of "Poker Face" from the AOL Sessions. Go ahead and dance if the mood strikes you. Pants are optional.
