As news broke this morning that Prop 8 was declared unconstitutional, celebs couldn’t help but voice their opinion on Twitter!

It’s been a hard battle in the same-sex marriage debate, and finally this morning word spread like wild fire about the uplifting news! Judge Stephen Reinhardt, one of the court’s more liberal judges, stated: “Proposition 8 serves no purpose, and has no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California.”

Although it happened way back in 2004, Britney Spears‘ ex-husband Jason Alexander still has heated words to say about their brief marriage.

The Louisiana native, who is now seeking a career in Mixed Martial Arts, opened up on ABC’s 20/20 about his Las Vegas wedding to the pop star. Alexander and Spears were married for a mere 55 hours — in which ended abruptly when Spears filed for an annulment. 

According to Jason, Britney had proposed to him that fateful night. He only agreed to marry her because he had strong feelings for the singer.

“I was in love with her. … I feel like she felt the same way,” he said.

Though Armie Hammer was just recently arrested on possession of marijuana allegations in Nov. 2011, this mugshot looks like it was taken in the ’80s.

The Social Network star looked just as handsome in the photo (obtained by TMZ.com) as he does on the red carpet following his arrest in Sierra Blanca, Texas. Baring his chest hair in a striped shirt with a slight smile, this could be one of the hotter mugshots we’ve seen in a while.

Don’t mess with Texas! The Social Network star Armie Hammer was reportedly arrested for possession of marijuana in the Lone Star state, according to TMZ.com. 

The arrest was made back on Nov. 30, 2011 in Sierra Blanca, Texas. Armie, 25, spent one day in jail before being released on bail for $1,000. According to TMZ, this is the same town that both Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg have been arrested for pot possession. 

The website also adds that the arrest occurred at border patrol thanks to some drug sniffing canines.  Police allegedly found three medicinal pot cookies and one brownie in the J. Edgar actor’s possession.

Jude Law is getting a little payback for his phone being hacked, along with 37 other victims, The Associated Press reported on Thursday. 

Rupert Murdoch‘s British newspaper company has obliged to pay Jude $200,00 for his phone being hacked between 2003 and 2006 where 16 articles were published about the Sherlock Holmes actor in the News of the World tabloid. Law said in a statement regarding his violation of privacy (via AP): 

“I changed my phones, I had my house swept for bugs but still the information kept being published.”

The 25-year-old actress is now notorious for her array of courtroom styles, and today’s outfit was no exception. The Mean Girls star showed up in a pair of black high-waisted trousers that she paired with a light blue top and matching cardigan. This may even be her most conservative piece yet.
