Leighton Meester, who plays vixen-type socialite Blair Waldorf on the CW's Gossip Girl, was caught taking a break Tuesday and enjoying a big bite of actual food on the New York City set of the show that made her a star.

Meester sported a bright red pea coat that brightened up the grayness of the day.

It's refreshing to see the dainty damsel, who is readying her debut album of "edgy electro-pop" for a spring release, chomping on something with actual nutritional value.

Meester's character Blair is probably too distracted to eat.

The first new episode of Gossip Girl this year hinted that Blair might have slept with/kissed/looked at meaningfully (pick one) lover/enemy (pick one) Chuck Bass' uncle on New Year's Eve behind Chuck's back.

And this would have been while Chuck (huge David Beckham fan Ed Westwick) was mourning the recent and shocking death of his father.

So this makes Blair the bitch of the century. If it really happened.

Even more GG goodness, Michelle Trachtenberg is bringing her Georgina Sparks character back to torment the other brilliant young things. It could mean more blackmail and attempted boyfriend swiping.
