Leighton Meester Steps Into Reebok's New Ad Campaign

Never let it be said that Gossip Girl doesn't make for fashion-forward television.

It makes sense that the CW hit's stars—who are constantly clad in cutting-edge couture—would become the faces of designer ad campaigns.

Here's Leighton Meester, 22, captured on the set of her Reebok photo shoot. She'll be shilling for the shoe company's retro '80s line of sneakers in upcoming print ads.

Leighton, who plays the scheming "Blair Waldorf" on Gossip Girl, literally follows in 21-year-old co-star Ed Westwick's footsteps; it was revealed earlier this month that he'll be the face of K-Swiss' new line of stark white shoes.

Meanwhile, in the gossip realm, Meester continues deflecting rumors that she and on-screen best frenemy Blake Lively, 21, are feuding.

It may be hard for people to grasp that sometimes life doesn't always imitate art.
