Not as fun as running around with hot, young models is it?
Leonardo DiCaprio is on a strict crash diet for his role in the new action flick, Inception, written by Batman director Christopher Nolan.
A set on source tells Radar that "Leo needs to shed at least 30lbs. He's gained weight recently and looks almost a bit flabby, which isn't good, especially as the camera adds pounds."
Leo plans on losing the weight with a strict diet and tons of exercise. The source reveals, "There's an action scene coming up at the end of the year in which he needs to appear emaciated, so the pressure is on."
Check out the official teaser for the movie, which hits theatres next summer:

MEH, he is a bit flabby
I thought he was lookin a lil doughy. I predict he will end up looking like Marlon Brando toward the end...
I think that he does need to lose some weight if he wants to get back into the game. He use to be pretty hot, but now he just let himself go- and it is showing
I always theorized that one reason he gained weight (other than, of course, a natural effect of getting older) was that he wanted to distance himself from his younger, teen idol self. He was so skinny in movies like What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Romeo + Juliet, even Titanic. I think probably gaining weight and filling out his face made him feel and look less like the pretty boy he was in danger of being typecast as.
I've thought dear Leo has been looking a little fleshy for quite some time now. It has the effect of making his facial features appear like they've all migrated to the center of his big round face. He is a movie star, and as such, is paid obscene amounts of money to appear in films in which viewers are forced to look at him, larger than life for at least 2 hours. Again, let's reflect...he is not an insurance agent, a TV repairman, or one of those guys who cleans out septic tanks. He is a movie star. Thus, unless he is starring in a biopic of Val Kilmer or John Travolta, it is in his best interest to get in shape.
Awwe. I don't like that side of movies/acting. I think he looks MUCH better now, being too muscular is not attractive.
leo,ask advice Christian Bale:D
I think he looks sexier with some meat on him. Does anyone remember when he was skinny as hell? I prefer this Leo.
ugh, he's been dough-boy for most of his adult life. photos of him shirtless are like looking at my neighbor mow his lawn shirtless...
i like hearing when hollywood weight roles are reversed and a man has to drop weight.
Leonardo does not need to lose weight. He looks awesome just the way he is. If he loses 30 lbs, there will be nothing left but his beautiful blue eyes, blonde hair, and bones. This story is fabricated by some nobody trying to gain attention.
