When Levi Johnston announced he’d be posing nude for Playgirl, a lot of people—not least among them his would-be mother-in-law Sarah Palin—expressed dismay.

But not to worry; the 19-year-old father of Tripp Palin says that he’ll be approaching the task of unleashing his genitals on the world delicately.

In an interview with CBS’ The Early Show on Thursday, Johnston announced,

“Posing for Playgirl, a lot of people are going to look at it as not [presenting] a good image, but we’re going to do it tastefully…We don’t want no bad boy image. I don’t want to be looked at as someone who is getting naked for fame.”

Tasteful, perhaps, but not disappointing, at least for those who wish to gaze upon his reproductive organs. In an apparent effort to reassure potential Playgirl consumers, Johnston’s manager told TMZ on Thursday,

“Everything’s gonna hang out. We’re talking ‘Full Johnson.’”

(At which point, we imagine, he mimicked the sound of a drum rimshot.)

Johnston is scheduled to strip for the camera on November 16.
