Lily Allen Welcomed Back to the U.S. of A.

on Oct. 9, 2008 11:49 AM / 5 Comments

Lily Allen has been finally granted a U.S. work visa, according to Contact Music.

The ornery Brit had to put the kibosh on a North American tour last year, after her permit was revoked by immigration officials.

Allen, known for her er, feisty behavior, was involved in a scuffle with a photographer in March of 2007, which led to assault charges and to her being barred from America's fair shores.

"I got my U.S. visa today, yay! It means I can go and tour there and finish what I started, which is something I've wanted to do for a while," she recently said at the BMI Awards.

Allen reportedly plans to embark on a U.S. tour for her album, It's not Me, It's You.

Dear stateside paparazzi—if you plan on approaching her, do it before she's gotten to a pub. It could mean the difference between life and death.

I can pick up a couple of guys in the Home Depot parking lot who can do a much better job than Lily Allen, and for a lot cheaper too.
