Lindsay Lohan fans can be so pushy. And grabby.

Phoenix, Arizona, TV station KNXV reports that the 22-year-old actress was assailed by 38-year-old Phoenix man Daniel Patrick Combs at approximately 1:30 Wednesday morning in front of the Jackrabbit Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lohan was at the club with her girlfriend Samantha Ronson, 31, who was acting as celebrity DJ for an event hosted by BlackBerry.

Combs allegedly lunged at Lohan as the pair left the club. Security personnel from the establishment immediately tackled and detained him while his quarry was escorted from the premises.

"He was very excited when he saw how close he was [to the pair]," Jackrabbit Lounge owner Dan Wierck later told reporters. "And obviously he has a history of being a stalker with Lindsay Lohan. So he tried to attack Lindsay and began yelling out, 'I love you, I love you.'"

The details of Combs' alleged stalking history have not yet been disclosed.

Police arrested Combs and detained him until 6 a.m., when he was released on a promise to appear in court for one count of disorderly conduct.

This isn't the first time that Lohan has been attacked while clubbing. Exactly a month ago, a PETA activist spilled a bag of flour on her outside the VIP Room in Paris, to protest her wearing of fur.
