Lindsay Lohan‘s career is definitely on the upswing these days.

First she lands a role in Robert Rodriguez‘s upcoming film Machete, and now she finds herself on the cover of the September issue of Elle UK.

Caught before she switched over to  her new blonde locks, Linds rocks some formidable boots and, for some reason, gnaws on her own hand in one picture. Has it really been that long since she’s last had a meal?
