Lindsay Lohan seems to be trying to avoid the cameras lately.

She was recently photographed trying to hide her face while leaving Crown Bar in L.A.

Her helpful girlfriend Samantha Ronson made sure to give the photogs a symbol of her esteem for them as she drove the cowering Lohan away.

Lindsay also used a Yves St. Laurent shopping bag to cover her freckled majesty while arriving home the other day.

What gives? Is she drinking again and doesn't want the paps to get shots of her inebriated (like this gem)?

Maybe it's because she realized that she doesn't get paid for them?

Or maybe she's embarrassed for thinking that she could ever have a chance with Olympian Michael Phelps?
