Lindsay Lohan's much-ballyhooed Ugly Betty guest run has been shaved down from six episodes to four. The famously volatile actress just couldn't behave herself, the New York Post reports.

According to the paper's source, "Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people. She smoked 24/7, and after she left, they had to repaint her dressing room it was such a mess."

Slovenly habits weren't the only problem. Apparently Linds "would obsessively cut pictures of herself out of the tabloids like she was creating some sort of scrapbook and refused to go on set until [Ugly Betty star] America [Ferrera] was there—it was a power play."

Perhaps the worst incident occurred when a scene called for Ferrara to "de-pants" Lohan's character—and "Lindsay wasn't wearing any underwear," the source noted.

Lindsay Lohan, not wearing undergarments? As improbable as that may seem, a Lohan pal felt the need to shoot back, "Bullsh*t! It was America's fault. They were rehearsing the scene and America wasn't supposed to pull Lindsay's pants down—but she did. Lindsay was so embarrassed, she started crying."

Lohan's rep states, "Lindsay was scheduled for six episodes and is appearing in four but had a lovely time."

Totally. Because if Lindsay Lohan is about anything, it's having a lovely time.

    Plus, she left all that gleet on the trailer upholstery. That stuff's not easy--or cheap--to get out.
