Lindsay Lohan Gets Political
Lindsay Lohan is aiming her blogging skills at more than her sleazy dad Michael.
Using time that she might have spent at her grandfather’s wake this weekend, the Just My Luck actress has crafted a MySpace post weighing in on the unwed pregnancy of Republican Vice Presidential pick Sarah Palin‘s daughter Bristol.
“We are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin and what she can do to make our country a less destructive place,” Lohan writes. “It’s distracting from the real issues, the real everyday problems that this country experiences.”
Lohan continues, “Parents need to recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren’t protecting themselves.”
It’s understandable that LiLo has had her fill on the topic of unwed pregnancies, but should Lindsay Lohan be lecturing the rest of the country on parent-child communication?
There are any number of perspectives that the nation would gladly welcome from Lohan. Perhaps this isn’t one of them.
