Lindsay Lohan Issues Cease & Desist to Dad
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly issued a cease and desist letter to her father, Michael Lohan.
According to RadarOnline, the recently freed starlet wants her father to stop selling her personal property. It is believed that Michael was attempting to sell portions of Lindsay’s diary which were written when she was in rehab at the Cirque Lodge in 2007.
In the letter, Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, calls Michael’s attempt to sell Lindsay’s personal diary “shameful” and claims that her 24-year-old client is “appalled” by his actions.
Lindsay has had a troubled relationship with her father for years. In 2005, the Mean Girls star released a song, “Confessions of a Broken Heart,” which documented the problems she and her family has had with Michael. Watch the music video below.
In a recent Vanity Fair interview, Lindsay said she was upset when she saw her father at her court sentencing in July because she knew he was going to “turn around and do an interview.” After Lindsay was sentenced to jail, Michael said that he and his daughter needed to “mend fences.”

Michael Lohan has no boundaries and is delusional. There is no end to the horrible things he does.
How could Lindsay Lohan stand a chance with those parents? She is old enough to disregard them both and realize they have caused a lot of her problems. Lindsay should realize she is a public figure so commenting about her party days as “nothing other college kids wouldn’t do” is a little off base. She is in the public eye and many young women are looking at her behavior as some type of role model. Whatever that might be, they are still influenced. She has talent and should focus on getting rid of that cheap blond look and go back to basics. And ditch the parents, Lindsay, you are old enough to manage your own life and your own affairs. Get gag orders on them both – look at it this way, you made them more money than they ever made for you. Enough is enough. They can grow up and take care of themselves, just like everyone else.
As horrible as it sounds, she needs to completely cut off contact with her father and possibly her mother. They are possibly two of the worst people in her life right now.
Why should Michael be the one whose looked down a? He is the only one who seems to be trying to push Lindsay towards other directions. Oh duh, she hates on her dad because her mom is the one who makes excueses and helps Lindsay find ways to blame others for the mistakes she’s made. Her mom needs parenting classes and probably her dad to, but he is talking more sense than his daughter and ex-wife.
why do we care??? really, so much time spent theorizing about things, people and events that in the long run are meaningless
