This probably won't some as a shocker to anyone, but Lindsay Lohan says she was  was surprised by her break-up with Samantha Ronson earlier this month.

On today's Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 22-year-old actress admits that the break-up "came out of nowhere," People magazine reports.

"I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn't seen her in, like, a week," Lohan adds. "She, like, disappeared."

Just days before the couple's tumultuous break-up, Lohan told reporters, "Those [breakup] rumors aren't true. We aren't broken up."

Shortly afterward, Ronson had the locks on her home changed, and members of Ronson's family were spotted at a Beverly Hills police station, inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a restraining order against Lohan.

But despite these clear-cut signs that the relationship is kaput, Lindsay, who's been keeping herself occupied with other activities since the split, is holding out hope that she and Ronson can reconcile.

"I really care about Samantha and we'll see what happens," Lohan offers. "Maybe when we're fully in the right place. And I love her."

    ist überraschend gut ins Jahr ge startet. Die Schweizer Bank ve rdiente im ersten Quartal vor al lem dank eines unerwartet hohen Ge winns im Investmentbanking 2,01 Mi lliarden Franken nach einem Ve rlust in etwa gleicher Gr ößenordnung im Vorjahr (-2,15 Mrd Franken).

    Der Markt hatte lediglich mit einem halb so hohen Gewinn gerechnet. Zudem konnte die Bank die Erträge im Kerngesc häft mehr als verdreifac hen. "Wir sind zuversicht lich für die Geschäftsau ssichten der Credit Suisse, besond ers im Branchenkontex t", sagte Vorstandschef Brady Dougan. Einen Ausblick auf d as laufende Jahr wollte die Ban k nicht geben, mittelfristig sieht sie sich aber auf Kurs zu ih ren Zielen.

    Die Aktie der Cred it Suisse reagierte mit einem Kurs sprung auf die positiven Nach richten. Zuletzt lag das Papier gut sieben Prozent im Plus bei 42,60 Franken. Die Bank Wegelin sprach von einem "beeindruckend en Ergebnis" und hob besonders den starken Neugeldzufluss und die Kapitalausstat tung hervor. Das starke Ergebni s im Investmentbank ing wurde am Markt zwar gelobt - die Analysten zeigten sich aber dur hweg skeptisch, ob die Bank die Entw cklung in diesem Bereich so for tsetzen könne.
