Lindsay Lohan's Laborious New Job

Lindsay Lohan has another role lined up after her recent guest-star stint on Ugly Betty. The leggings-loving actress will be donning lots of stretchy maternity wear for her role in the romantic comedy Labor Pains, in which she plays a woman who fakes a pregnancy to keep from getting fired.

An interesting parallel, given that she recently lost two movie parts.

This refocus on acting will most likely be a welcome distraction to the actress, who has been spending more time dealing with gossip surrounding her alleged romance with DJ Samantha Ronson, legal woes, partying, her mother's exploitative reality television show and her father's need to comment publicly on his family's every move.

"It is a very different role for me," Lohan told Variety. "I look forward to the challenges it will present, and I love working on comedies."

Little known fact: Pretending to be pregnant is also almost as good a way of trying to sell albums as actually being with child.

Oh god... did anyone see her on Ugly Betty? I forgot how bad of an actress she was. And I think this movie is gonna tank. Enough of the pregnancy movies!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought they would stop after Juno didn't even win an MTV award.
