Liv Tyler Rushes To Help a Troubled Baby!

Liv Tyler was spotted heading towards lunch yesterday at Ca'Brea on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles, but something was going on in the streets that she couldn't help notice—and do something about!

Liv, who is a mother to 4-year-old son Milo, witnessed an older woman yelling and hitting a crying baby in a stroller. The actress, obviously worried for the welfare of the tot, checked on the distressed little girl before threatening to call police.

X17 reports, "Liv almost caused an accident and she hit the brakes, did a U-turn, and pulled over on the side of the road to reprimand the woman. Unfortunately the woman didn’t speak English and kept telling Tyler, 'No entiendo. (I don’t understand.)' Liv was telling her “You can’t do that! I’m going to call the police; I’m going to call Child Services!'"

The woman, perhaps the baby's grandmother or nanny, was not so happy to be confronted by the brunette celeb, who was dressed in a black tank top and blue printed shorts. As Liv walked away, the lady screamed and pointed towards Liv, yelling that it was none of her business!

What she did was right, I'm a mother and I can't stand seeing all those foreign old ladies slapping babies. You see it all the time in the grocery store and at the playground. If a child is crying you're only going to make it cry more if you continue slapping it ... sheesh ... that old non-english speaking lady should go back to her own country!

I agree, it is unfortunate the women did not understand. So, she might then have some fear and think next time before hitting the child.

Being foreign has nothing to do with good parenting or lack thereof. It's unfortunate that you, as a mother, have such narrow minded and ethnocentric views that you surely will be displaying in front of your children. How about you go back to school you idiot and learn to be a better person.
