Liv Tyler Rushes To Help a Troubled Baby!

Liv Tyler was spotted heading towards lunch yesterday at Ca'Brea on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles, but something was going on in the streets that she couldn't help notice—and do something about!

Liv, who is a mother to 4-year-old son Milo, witnessed an older woman yelling and hitting a crying baby in a stroller. The actress, obviously worried for the welfare of the tot, checked on the distressed little girl before threatening to call police.

X17 reports, "Liv almost caused an accident and she hit the brakes, did a U-turn, and pulled over on the side of the road to reprimand the woman. Unfortunately the woman didn’t speak English and kept telling Tyler, 'No entiendo. (I don’t understand.)' Liv was telling her “You can’t do that! I’m going to call the police; I’m going to call Child Services!'"

The woman, perhaps the baby's grandmother or nanny, was not so happy to be confronted by the brunette celeb, who was dressed in a black tank top and blue printed shorts. As Liv walked away, the lady screamed and pointed towards Liv, yelling that it was none of her business!

I don't think I'm narrow minded or a bad person; I think that if you're in America where it is considered an English-speaking country, you should speak English out in public or at least have a basic knowledge of the English language enough to say, MYOB. At least if she WAS in her own country, she'd be able to explain herself and her actions. I think before you judge someone else's comment you should look at your own and realize you're the one being the 'idiot'.

the BABY was getting hit, it wasn't some teenager who easily defend them self, it was a BABY!

Ok. Number one, that wasn't a baby. It probably wanted to get out and walk. There's the abuse.

Hispanics have a terrible habit of overbabying and enabling, i.e., putting a kid that can walk in a stroller; Keeping a kid on a bottle unitl they're 12; not disciplining when needed and then over disciplining in response.

Last thing: Spanish will never be a second language in the US.
Only someone who doesn't understand (or like) core American values would think that it ever could be.

Oh yeah one last thing: Liv bending over isn't what it used to be.

yttcs I can't say thank you enough because YOU understand what I was trying to say! It's only the illegal immigrants that have children here, and THOSE children that are all about their 'countries' and their 'latin-american' pride. Well excuse me, but if your country was so good and so 'GREAT', then why the HECK did your family even move here?!?! DUH, it's because your country SUCKED A$$ and your family probably needed to escape some kind of injustice. But it's ok for you to come here and treat 'white/black - NATURAL BORN Americans' like crap ...

Well Celebuzz... that's not a baby I see in these pictures. (Wonder why it's still in a stroller though, being at least 2,5 or 3.) Nevertheless, it's a good thing Liv is checking things out. On the other hand, what was the spanking exactly? Don't judge if you weren't there to witness... I think Liv was sincere and not just looking for publicity - not in those shorts anyway :)

Why did YOUR family ever move here? I very much doubt you're native american. Possibly couldn't cope anymore in the country they were born in... too stupid.
