Lynne Curtin Fired From 'Real Houswives'
Lynne Curtin, the Newport Beach mom who struggled with financial and family troubles on the Real Housewives of Orange County, will not be returning to the hit Bravo show.
The 53-year-old mother of two announced on her Facebook page in that she was fired from the show and will not be returning next season:
I am broken hearted! I was so let down the way this came about! We were the last to know! I guess Bravo has to do what they have to do! I thought we had a great relationship! I guess I was wrong! Its funny how fast offers came to us from other places! Thats how we found out we were not returning! Funny how life can be! We tried to be honest about our lives! I thought thats what reality tv is supposed to be!
Lynne's family and financial drama was a key focus of the most recent season of Real Housewives. During the past season, Lynne was almost kicked out of her rental home for not paying rent, and she got into near-constant fights with her rebellious teenage daughters. Lynne's extensive plastic surgery has also been a focus in past seasons of the show.
But don't worry, Lynne fans: The reality mom hints that we haven't seen the last of her:
I would like our new show to be totally honest! No retakes or do overs. You will see it exactly the way it really happens! Someone thinks alot of people will tune in! That makes me feel better about things! Its important to keep a positive vibe in life no matter what is going on!
Lynne will reportedly be replaced by Peggy Tanous. The new season of RHOC is expected to air on January 2011.
