You can’t really say anything bad about Mädchen Amick. It’s like, homegirl was on Twin Peaks; so she’s forever golden by default.

That said, thank goodness Amick, 37, landed such a classy role—as seductive cougar Cathernine Mason on Gossip Girl, who’s hot for Chace Crawford‘s Nate.

Turning down those scripts for Lifetime original movies was probably becoming less and less of an option.

Exult, then, in pics of the generation-gapped lovebirds shooting scenes for the upcoming Gossip Girl season.

Lucky for 22-year-old Chace, he has quite the history of wowing Hollywood’s older, more high-profile dames.
