Madonna Defends Britney, Tells Own Kids to Shut Up

Madonna holds the key to Britney Spears...and it involves the world backing the f--k off.  People reports the iron-gunned pop titan told the BBC we should all just cut the pop tart a slew of slack because "she was never allowed to have a childhood." Hmmm, never thought of Madonna as an enabler...

"She didn't get to grow up and make mistakes privately and try things out and just be a kid and be innocent. She's been watched, judged and been under a microscope since she's been a teenager. It's hard to evolve that way," the Material Mom enabled.

When you think of it like that, why on earth would Britney ever keep her weave tidy, give her kids nutritious meals and avoid driving into other cars when she's distracted by her cigarette or thoughts of chocolate.

As for her own kids, Lourdes, Rocco and almost adopted David, they try to take their megafamous mom's success in stride, but mostly "they're over it," Madge says.
