The International Business Times reports that the 17-city European leg of Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet" tour broke a string of Continental box office records.

Madge has now arrived in the U.S. (as evidenced by her recent dinner with Alex Rodriguez) and she's ready to expose Americans to her Hard Candy.

"Now that I've warmed up in Europe, I'm ready to come home and do the show for my U.S. fans," she stated.

The "Sticky & Sweet Tour" will open Saturday night at New Jersey's Izod Arena with four Madison Square Garden dates to follow.

Wonder how much A-Rod will be paying for his seat?
