Madonna and Guy Ritchie's $76 Million Christmas Adventure
When Guy Ritchie assembled his Christmas wish list this year, he probably didn't ask for a 50-year-old, nit-picking, physically intimidating ex-wife under the tree. But according to the Daily Mail, that's exactly what he's getting.
The paper reports that Madonna will spend the Christmas holiday at the 120-acre Ashcombe House estate in Wiltshire, England—which the two used to share—with 40-year-old Ritchie.
Joining the sure-to-be-awkward couple will be their collective brood—son Rocco, 8, adopted tot David Banda, 3, and Madonna's 12-year-old daughter with Carlos Leon, Lourdes.
"Madonna and Guy want the best for the kids and so she has decided to come over to the UK so they can be with their father," a source close to the estranged couple tells the paper. "The plan is for them to be together on Christmas Day at Ashcombe House. Madonna arrives in England on December 23 and is planning to stay for Christmas."
The custody of the couple's children has been a point of contention for the singer and the RockNRolla director. Madonna wants them to live with her in New York, while Ritchie would prefer that son Rocco attend school in London.
This bit of as-yet-unresolved business isn't deterring Ritchie from trying to give their offspring as merry a Christmas as could be hoped for, considering the circumstances.
"He wants to treat them to a really special Christmas with stockings of presents and a big tree," an insider says. "He is planning on having a traditional turkey dinner—although all the food will be organic at Madonna’s insistence." The source adds that Madonna will "be eating a different meal as she will only eat fish. She will also be working out on Christmas Day."
Quality time with the kids isn't the only Christmas present she's bringing to Guy.
British music paper NME reports that the pair have reached a financial settlement for their divorce. The director is said to receive at least $76 million. Ritchie will also retain ownership of the couple's West London pub (and Ritchie's home-away-from-home) the Punchbowl.
"I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement," Madonna's mouthpiece, Liz Rosenberg, told the Associated Press.
Do you think Guy earned that money? Or has he taken Madonna for a ride?

Guy worked his london ass for that money, are you kidding? Madonna has done him wrong all over and he has been more than a gentleman about the whole thing as a matter of fact.
